Jonesborough Repertory Theatre Announces Audition Dates for Legend of Sleepy Hollow and It’s a Wonderful Life
Jonesborough Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and It’s a Wonderful Life, on Sunday, Sept. 9 and Monday Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at the theatre. Ages six through adult are welcome to audition for It’s a Wonderful Life and ages sixteen through adult are invited to audition for The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic story of Icabod Craine, will run from Oct. 26 through Nov. 4. Those auditioning should be prepared to learn a simple song and perform it at the time of the auditions.
It’s a Wonderful Life, adapted by Doug Rand from the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra and Jo Swerling, will run from Nov. 28 through Dec. 16. No special preparation is needed for this audition.
