BOO Fest
The City of Morristown’s Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate Halloween with “BOOfest” on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. along the trail at FredMillerPark.
Registration will begin at 5:00pm. Early Registration will begin October 8, 2012 at the main office 415 w. Louise Ave,. There will be a shuttle service available at First Baptist, First Presbyterian, and All Saints Episcopalian Church parking lots, the Girls inc. bus will begin picking up at 4:45p.m. and run approximately every 20 minutes.
Parking will be available at Gateway and Calvary Church. Health Star Physicians will allow parking starting at 5:30p. Parking will be available in the Rosedale parking lot and Mill St. Parking Lot. Handicap parking will be permitted in the Jackson Street parking lot with Emergency Personnel. Jackson Street will have another parking area in the grass with ramp accessibility. Morristown Police Department will be assisting us this evening to help with any parking problems, please keep in mind tickets will be given to those who park illegally. Please be mindful of driveways and children crossing the street. Teenagers and Adults are not allowed to wear any mask or face make-up that inhibits facial recognition. This event is for age’s 2-12 children. Please look for parking signs and ask for assistance from staff working that evening. Northbound traffic on Jackson will be rerouted until the event is over.
Trick or treat around the trail and visit all the booths. The night promises to be spooketacular for ages up to 14. Early registration will begin October 8th and go thru Oct. 22.
