Art Market Gallery Sale to Benefit CSA Knox

Art Market Gallery will have several of its artists-members on hand making quilled tree ornaments and Christmas cards on Saturday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the gallery, 422 South Gay Street in downtown Knoxville. The public is invited to attend this demonstration.
The cards and ornaments, along with other artisan-made ornaments, will be for sale in the gallery during November and December with the proceeds going to the Community School for the Arts, a non-profit program that provides free instruction in music, visual arts, modern dance and drama to children who would otherwise be unable to afford it. Paper quilling, or paper filigree, is a craft that has been existence for hundreds of years. Strips of paper are rolled with a quill and glued together to create a variety of designs.
Member owned and operated by over 60 regional artists, Art Market Gallery is located a 422 South Gay Street in Knoxville next to the Downtown Grill & Brewery.
