Art Market Gallery Sale to Benefit CSA Knox

Art Market Gallery will have several of its artists-members on hand making quilled tree ornaments and Christmas cards on Saturday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the gallery,  422 South Gay Street in downtown Knoxville.  The public is invited to attend this demonstration. 

The cards and ornaments, along with other artisan-made ornaments, will be for sale in the gallery during November and December with the proceeds going to the Community School for the Arts, a non-profit program that provides free instruction in music, visual arts, modern dance and drama to children who would otherwise be unable to afford it.  More information on CSA can be found here: www.csaknox.org

Paper quilling, or paper filigree, is a craft that has been existence for hundreds of years.  Strips of paper are rolled with a quill and glued together to create a variety of designs.

Member owned and operated by over 60 regional artists, Art Market Gallery is located a 422 South Gay Street in Knoxville next to the Downtown Grill & Brewery.
