The GFWC Ladies’ Reading Circle is busy making plans for the 37th annual Benefit Salad Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 @ First Baptist Church from 11a-1:30p.
This year the luncheon co-chairs are Agnes Sexton, and Martha Ann Henry.
More than 20 local agencies are the recipients of the proceeds from the Salad Luncheon. The following is an incomplete list of these organizations: ALPS, CEASE, Central Services, Crisis Pregnancy Center, Davis Homes Library, Friends of Hospice, Girls, Inc., Habitat for Humanity, Helping Hands Clinic, Encouraging Excellence in Education, Humane Society, Kidz Succeed, MATS, Rose Center, and Riding High.
