Barbara Britton Jeffers, age 79, of Talbott, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Heritage Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fox and Benita Britton; brother, Gary Britton; and son-in-law, William Maynard.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Maynard; son, Jeff (Deborah) Jeffers; sister, Linda Fleenor; grandchildren, Kandace (Steven) Haag, Renee (Jordan) Mabry, and Erica (Michael) Owens; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Haag, Ollie Haag, G.W. Mabry, Chloe Owens, and Cayden Owens; and nephew, Barry (Rachel) Pardue.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2026 for graveside services at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
