Larry David Cope
Larry David Cope, age 78, of Talbott, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 15th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
Erma F. Brummitt
Erma F. Brummitt, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Regency Retirement Village. She was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church and was a teacher in the Hamblen County School System for 30 years. Erma was a Christian and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Marine Fletcher; brother, Donald “Tex” Fletcher; and brothers-in-law, Allen Harbin and Rick Hill. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jake Brummitt; sons, Greg (Darlene) Brummitt and Chad (Vicky) Brummitt; grandchildren, Hanna (TJ) Rose, Marla (Tyler) Rogers, Grace (Bradley) League, and Maddie (Preston) Parks; great-grandchildren, Oaklan Rogers, Adler Rogers, Amelia Rose, Annalee League, Emersyn League, Charlie and Deacon Parks; sisters, Carrol Harbin and Linda Hill; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Rose Marie Brummitt, Ann Price, and Danny and Lisa Templin for their friendship and help. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
