Michael Jason McGinnis, age 48, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after a long illness. Michael enjoyed spending his time riding motorcycles and listening to music.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Constance McGinnis; sister, Jennifer (Pete) Tannehill; niece, Mallory Wallen; girlfriend, Lissa Cuthbertsom; and many cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:00 p.m on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Mayes Mortuary with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Kenny Boling.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
