Rita Jane Roberts, age 67, of Mooresburg, went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, July 19th at her residence. She was a member of Barnards Grove Baptist Church. She was a longtime employee of Holts IGA.

She was preceded in death by her mother and Father Juanita and Floyd McCollough and husband of 25 years Roy Roberts.

She is survived by her three children, David Roberts (Amanda), Brandy Long (Lee), Crystal Dawn Roberts; six grandchildren, Savannah and Wyatt Roberts, Clint and Owen Long, Chloe Melton and Avery Carpenter, and several special family members and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice (Krystal, Erica, Shaunda) and all the nurses and staff at Thompson Oncology, Parkwest and Stat care.

The family will Receive friends on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. and funeral services to follow with Rev. Tim Collins and Dale Harris officiating at Mayes Mortuary in Morristown. Burial is at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Big Hill cemetery in Mooresburg.
