Barbara McCall, age 78, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

Barbara was born in South Kingstown, Rhode Island on July 29, 1945. She lived there until she moved to Coventry, Rhode Island in 1979. She bought her first home and raised her three girls as a single mother.

Years later in 2008, after she retired from Kent County Hospital, she moved to Morristown, TN to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Robert F. and Elizabeth Catherine (Arundale) McCall; siblings, Joan A. (McCall) Meader, William H. McCall Sr, and Kenneth G. McCall; son, Jeffrey W. Brown; and daughter, Tina L. ( C. Peter Hartman, Sr).

Survivors include daughters, Rhonda L. (Bob) Delory of Russellville, TN and Wendy L. (Kevin) Gil Sr. of St. Augustine, Fl; grand-children, Major Carl (Jessica)Hartman, Jr. of Colorado, Alexandria (Dylan) Harville of Russellville, TN, Matthew Delory of Sullivan County, TN., Jeff (Casey) Coyne Jr. of Russellville, TN, Sgt Kevin (Jenny) Gil, Jr. of Orange Park, FL, Ryan Delory of Russellville, TN, and Sean Gil of St Augustine, FL; great-grand children who will miss their beloved Nana beyond measure, Troy Harville, Trevor Harville, and Jackson Coyne; along with her family who will miss her dearly, she has many extended family members who will miss her as well.

Mom loved her family fiercely and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. Visitation in Tennessee with be held at Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown, TN on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5 -6 p.m.

A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation in Rhode Island will be held at Avery-Storti Funeral Home in Wakefield, Rhode Island on September 9, 2023 at 11am.
