Shirley Temple Horner Miller, age 83, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 12th, 2023.

She lived in Lenoir City but was formerly from the Talbott community. Shirley was born on January 28th, 1940 to Dewey and Ollie Turner Horner.

She married the love of her life, Roy D. Miller, on October 25th, 1958. Over the years, they had four children. She attended Cedar Hill Church of God. She loved Jesus, her family, and canning anything.

She moved to Lenoir City in 2020 to be closer to her daughter and finally moved in with her in 2021.

In this time, she got to be closer with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ollie Horner; husband, Roy D. Miller; daughter Lisa Miller Strange; mother-in-law Viola Miller; and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Sandy (Roger) Slover of Lenoir City; son Kenny Miller of Erie, PA; youngest daughter Susan (Duane) Moore of Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Misty Bryant, Kayla Davis, Kenny Jr., Kristi Duran, Mike Miller; great-grandchildren Huntlyn and Fisher Davis, Amber Gibson, Tyler Bryant, Selena Duran, Anika Duran, Amanda Duran, Haley Miller, Shyanne Miller, Kenny Miller, Mike Jr., Tony, Austin, Alex, Tyler Sr., Josh, Ethan, Thomas, and Dillon Miller; great-great grandchildren Malaysia, Calaysia, Johnavon, Balaina, Alainia, Adysen, Acelyn, Ryder, and Tyler Jr.

Graveside services will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Talbott, TN on Friday August 18th at 10:00am.
