Joseph Lynn Martin, age 66, passed from this life on July 3rd, 2026 at Alive Hospice Nashville, Tennessee. Joe was born in White Pine and raised in Hamblen County. At the time of his birth, he was the largest baby, 14.6 lbs, ever born at Allen Baker Clinic. He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Pauline Deniston Martin, son Joseph Charles Martin, daughter Sara Martin.

He is survived by son Scott Martin, granddaughter, Jasmine Martin; sisters Carolyn Garner, Harker Heights, Texas; Patricia Helton, Morristown; Dorothy Rick, Jefferson City; Linda Holt, White Pine; Judy West, Greeneville South Carolina; brother William Martin, Morristown; many nieces nephews and friends.

Joe attended school at Witt School, Morristown East and TCAT in Nashville. He owned a construction Company in the Nashville area. His generosity and gentle soul will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
