Dudley

Carole Trentham Dudley, 64, of Talbott, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on May 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and sons. Born on April 16, 1962, in Borger, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Jessie Trentham and the late Bill Trentham.

Carole was a devoted wife to her husband of 40 years, Jeff Dudley, and a loving mother to her three sons: Dean Dudley (Dena), Alan Dudley (Becky), and Davey Dudley. Her granddaughters, (Sybil, Olivia, and Ella); and grandson, (Theo) were the source of endless joy. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Anita Strange, Linda Noe, Bob Trentham and many cherished extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Melanie Proffitt; and brother, Sid Trentham.

Affectionately referred to as Ms. Carole, Darlin, Mama, and Grandma, her most cherished title was “daughter of Christ.” As a woman of unwavering faith, Carole found strength and solace in the Lord. Her life was a testament of kindness and compassion to everyone that knew her.

Carole is face to face with our Savior, and for eternity she will rejoice in His name. Her story did not end on May 19th; her eternal glorification has just begun.

May her memory bring peace, comfort, and joy to all who knew her.

The family is planning a private service for a later date.
