Patricia Siler Harmon

Apr 26, 1926 – Jun 15, 2026

Patricia Siler Harmon, born April 26, 1926, was the only child of Monnie and legendary coach Petie Siler of Morristown. She was reunited with her devoted husband Robert “Bob” Harmon in a heavenly reunion on June 15, 2026. Originally from Morristown, Pat and Bob Harmon lived in Clemson, SC for many years before returning to Morristown in 2014. In Clemson, SC she worked in the IPTAY Office of the Clemson University Athletic Department and loved attending and engaging with Clemson First Baptist Church. She was active in the Garden Club and many other community organizations. An avid Vols and Tigers fan, she enthusiastically enjoyed all sports.

Patricia attended the University of Tennessee and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She worked at Marguerite, later Fairview-Marguerite, and Hillcrest Elementary Schools in Hamblen County. Upon returning to Morristown, Pat attended Trinity Methodist Church where she made so many friends; Bob and Pat mailed many special occasion cards to members of both churches and friends. Pat seldom met a stranger and loved to talk with and text friends on her iPhone.

Pat and Bob loved to travel with friends and family, creating fond memories with so many over the years. Edisto Beach was a beloved place of comfort and family gatherings for the Harmons.

She leaves behind her son, Robert “Bob” Harmon daughter-in-law, Tracy of Bean Station; daughter, Sue Lee and son-in-law Mike of Morristown; grandson, John Harmon, wife Callie, and great grandchildren, Mollie and Siler of League City, TX; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Goodman of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Elizabeth Goodman and great grandchildren Easton and Charlee of Rogersville; granddaughter, Rebeka Rice, husband John and great grandchildren, Samantha, Jack, and Henry of Knoxville. Her faithful companion, Cricket Harmon, Boston Terrier, who was always by her side and provided so much comfort, will reside with Sue and Mike.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to her friend and physician Dr. Eric Delay, the devoted employees of Caris Hospice of Morristown, and Serenity House who assisted her in her final months and weeks. Heart-felt gratitude is bestowed upon friends from Trinity Methodist Church who visited her time and again in her journey Homeward.

A memorial service will be held later this summer. Allen Funeral Home is overseeing the final arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity House, 421 North High Street, Morristown, TN 37814 or ALPS of Morristown.
