Steve Carroll

Jack Steven “Steve” Carroll, age 76, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was saved at an early age at Spruce Pine Baptist Church in Mooresburg. He later became a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was born and raised in Morristown. He owned his own construction business and was co-owner of Carroll’s Grocery for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Virginia Seals Carroll; daughter, Gina Carroll; and grandson, Brian Carroll.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Henry Carroll; daughters, Lisa (Scott) Noe, and Sharleen (Cheyenne) Farmer; step-sons, Travis (Jenny) Myers, and Johnathan (Candice) Myers; grandchildren, Erica Lawson, Jacob Farmer, Mason Henry, and Mattley Masengill, Talon, Carter, Clay, Brady, Kinsey Myers; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Rita (Royce) Benward; brothers, Richard (Niki) Carroll, and Chris Carroll; sister-in-law, Diane (Buddy) McDaniel; along with several other family members and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Caris Hospice, other family members, and friends for everything they did for Steve and the family during his illness.

Per Steve’s request, no visitation or funeral was held. He was buried at Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, with Rev. Richard Carroll officiating.

Pallbearers were Scott Noe, Cheyenne Farmer, Travis and Johnathan Myers, Brandon Cooper, and Jacob Farmer.

The honorary pallbearer was Mason Henry. Arrangements by Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
