Rev. Johnny David Mills, age 82, of Jefferson City, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. He was honored to serve in the United States Air Force. He was a member or Holston Memorial Baptist Church and was honored to serve as Pastor to several area churches.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda Mills; parents, Monroe and Gladys Murray Mills; sisters, Evelyn Mills Kooch and Joyce Mills; brothers, Ed Mills and Orville “Buck” Mills, brothers-in law, Thomas Kooch and Walter J. Wilmoth; sister-in-law, Grace Mills.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Tracy (Forrest) Bates; granddaughter, Trinity Bates; sister, Wanda Mills Wilmoth; brother, Bobby (Lois) Mills; several nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews; and many beloved and cherished friends, whom he considered family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your home church or local food pantry.
