Morristown Utilities Commission announced the retirement of Clark Rucker following nearly 39 years of service to the utility and the Morristown community.

Rucker began his career with Morristown Utilities as a summer employee before joining the utility fulltime in 1987. During his career, he served in several leadership roles, including Controller, Manager of Finance and Administration, Assistant General Manager, and finally Interim General Manager.

The Morristown Utilities Commission recognized Rucker for his years of leadership, dedication, and commitment to the organization, its employees, and customers during its May 7, 2026 meeting. Commissioners expressed their appreciation for his service and wished him a happy retirement.
