Memory Gardens to host annual Memorial Day Service

Hamblen Memory Gardens & Mausoleums will host its Annual Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 26, at 10 a.m. in the Veterans Field of Honor.

The community is invited to attend this special service of remembrance honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.

The program will feature remarks from Hamblen County Mayor Chris Cutshaw, a wreath laying ceremony conducted by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #1073 of Morristown, and special bagpipe music.

Following the service, complimentary hotdogs, chips, and drinks will be available for all attendees.

“This service is an important tradition for our cemetery and our community,” said Paul Chapman of Hamblen Memory Gardens & Mausoleums. “Memorial Day is a time to come together, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and honor the legacy of service and freedom they left behind.”

Families, veterans, and members of the community are encouraged to attend. Admission is free and all are welcome.
