Mildred Smith, age 88, of Jacksboro passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Preceded in death by parents: William and Florence Carmack Hill, sisters: LoVerna Moore, Sally Anderson, Emma Bowman, Carletta White, Mattie Lucas, Audrey Coward, Eitha Wilson, brothers: Jurd Hill and Arthur Hill.

Survived by daughters: Gail and husband Kenny Miller, Joyce and Husband Bill Hurd, Carmen and Husband Eddie Pike, sons: Darrell and wife Brenda Moore, Shannon and wife April Smith, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

Family will receive friends 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon Monday, August 21, 2023 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Cumberland View Cemetery for 12:30 p.m. graveside service and internment, Rev. George Asbury and Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating.
