Ronald Allen Setsor Sr. (Joe) age 69 of Treadway, went to his final resting place on Monday, August 14, 2023 at U.T. Medical Center.

He was born August 8, 1954 to Kyle & Edith Livesay Setsor. He was saved at a young age and joined Friendship Baptist Church. Joe’s two passions in life were trucking and farming.

He drove a truck from the age of 26 until retirement. Farming, however, he never retired from and made many lasting friendships while working his farm and helping others.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kyle Setsor; mother Edith Setsor, brother, Larry Setsor and mother of his children; Bernice Ann Greene.

He is is survived by; Sons; Ronnie (Mary Lynn) Setsor and Kevin (Christen) Setsor Loving grandkids; Cole, Cassie, Carrie Anne, Savannah Setsor Only great-grandchild; Gageston Setsor Companion of many years; Betty Fleenor Daughters, he thought of as his own; Tonya Seal, Tabitha (Brad) Gibson & Keishia Bell Grandkids he loved as his own; Adam, Kaitlin & Weston Seal, Lexi Locke, Harper Gibson and Brantley & Kesley Collins Loving sister; Charlotte Richardson Nieces; Lana (Jim) McDaniel and Kim & Nikki Setsor Nephews; Brad Setsor & Jordon Richardson Special cousin; Sherry (Wade) Ramsey.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the McNeil Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7 P.M. Rev. Lance Dalton officiating.

Special music will be provided by Ryan Dalton Interment will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Davis Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Johnson, Wade Ramsey, Jason Lawson, Brad Setsor, Jordon Richardson, Odell Akins.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Roy Hurley, Morgan Paine & Chris Setsor. McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville is honored to be serving the Setsor Family.
