Julie Layman was called home to Heaven on August 9th, 2023.

She was born on August 29th, 1978.

She leaves behind her loving daughter Carrie Goins; her father, Howard Layman; brothers Greg (Sherry) Layman and Sam (Leslie) Kuykendall; many special aunts and uncles whom loved her deeply, Angie, Julie-Anne, Loretta Carpenter, Cindy (Curtis) Fox, and Lisa (Gary) Fox; and many nieces and nephews, Zack, Steven, Alex, Tory, Adalynn, Skyler, Matthew, Summer, Angelina, and Colton; and great-nephew Brantley whom she loved.

Julie is preceded in death by her loving mother, Kathy Layman; her grandparents Beulah and Roy Carpenter and Dora and Cleo Layman.

She was a member at Greene’s Chapel Missionary Baptist.

Services will be held at Alder Funeral home in Morristown, TN. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20th, 2023 from 3-5PM with service following at 5PM. Officiants will be Brother Jack Greene and Brother Doug Livesay. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 21st, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 11AM.
