Kingswood School to host fundraiser luncheon

Kingswood Home for Children will be hosting its 2nd annual ladies fellowship luncheon fundraiser themed Bloom Where you are Planted on August 19 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The luncheon will have fellowship and discussion led by Carolyn Pankalla who is a Christian music artist from Orlando Florida. Pankalla, has performed at the White House for Ronald Reagan and has also been featured on multiple TV shows.
Pankalla’s single “Broken into Beautiful” hit No. 22 in the charts and her song “Veterans of the USA” was No. 1 on the CMT video awards.
Last year’s fundraiser sold 172 seats and they hope to fill as many this year. A silent auction and gift card prizes will be available as well. All proceeds go towards helping displaced children at Kingswood Home for Children.
Tickets are $25 each and sponsorships are available.
On their social media Kingswood describes themselves as a private, Christian Home for Children. Since 1943, they have invested in over 7,000 children physically, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. They serve boys and girls, ages 5-18 who have been displaced due to situations of abandonment, abuse, and neglect. Kingswood provides a safe haven for children to heal, to be loved, and to learn Christian values. Their mission is “Bringing healing to hurting children and families in HIS name.” At Kingswood, they are investing in children and changing futures.
