The 42nd Annual Boys and Girls Club of Morristown’s Super Auction continues to gain momentum with all kinds of SUPER items being donated for the August 12th event scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the club facility on Sulphur Springs Road.

Three of the most recent SUPER items donated include a vacation to Costa Rica donated by John and Stephanie Smyth and two season tickets for the upcoming University of Tennessee Football Season – located in Section X3 Row 14 Seats 18 & 19 – and two season tickets for the upcoming UT Mens Basketball Season – located in Section 119 Row 22 Seats 5 & 6 -0 given by Dr. Mike and Dr. Donna Dillard.

“We are so excited to receive these awesome items from John and Stephanie Smyth and the Dillard’s for this year’s upcoming Super Auction. I am absolutely amazed at the response and support we continue to receive from our community,” according to Executive Director Seals.

The Costa Rica Vacation is located at Jaco Beach Costa Rica.

It includes a 6-night stay in a condo owned by John and Stephanie.

The accommodations include three bedrooms and two baths in the heart of Jaco.

Lots of other adventures are only a short distance away including the beach – only 150 meters from the Condo.

The unit also includes WiFi, air conditioning, linens, beach towels, cornhole boards and bags for poolside and games for the room. The trip needs to be used by December 31, 2024 with no blackout dates.

“This vacation is another unique item (first) for the Super Auction. For John and Stephanie to open up their home in Costa Rica,” Seals said, “and for Dr. Mike and Dr. Donna to continue donating season tickets is humbling and speaks volumes to their support of the club and community. We sure appreciate them and everyone that contributes to support our club.

This year’s 42nd Annual Super Auction will look similar to last year’s event with the Auction preview taking place on Friday, August 11th beginning at 6pm at the club facility located at 311 Sulphur Springs Road.

The Super Auction will take place on Saturday, August 12th beginning at 10 a.m. The in-person (LIVE) Auction will be inside from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. an 1:00 p.m. we will move outside to auction the bigger items. Doors will OPEN Saturday at 8:30 a.m. for early registration. Parking will be available in the TCAT lots beside and behind the club facility.

All proceeds raised from the annual fundraiser go to support the operating costs of running the facility like utilities, insurance, personnel and general program expenses.
