Meadowview Middle School has announced a new member of its leadership team.

Dr. Chris Sharp will serve as Assistant Principal, joining Principal Kristen Brockman.

“I am excited to return to the school I attended as a child and serve the Meadowview community,” he said. “I know that the school will achieve and be successful. Forward Vikings, forward!“

Sharp is a native of Hamblen County and has been an educator for 17 years. He has taught Fine Arts, Social Studies, Reading and Geography.

Sharp is a 2013 graduate of East Tennessee State University, earning his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. He has served as the principal of McDonald Elementary School in Greene County for the past nine years.

Sharp has a wife, Amy Sharp, and two children.
