Tennessee State Disc Golf Championship Celebrates 10th year in Morristown

Professional and amateur disc golfers from 23 states have descended on Morristown for the annual Tennessee State Disc Golf Championships June second through the fourth.
Now in its tenth year, the tournament has grown from 140 players to the current roster of 575.
The 148 pros will play both of their scheduled rounds at the Panther Creek State Park course beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 2.
The final round will be played at the Rotary course at Frank Lorino Park beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday, June 4th.
Local pros playing include Alex Ferguson, New Market; Caleb Hall, Adam Stanton, and Marcie Valdez of Morristown. Nine-time champion Chris Dickerson of Gray will be back to defend his title. The amateurs will be playing on all four of Morristown’s courses. The additional courses are located at Cherokee Park and the Kiwanis Course at Wayne Hansard Park.
