A multitude of residents came to the Senior Citizens Center Friday for the Spring Health Fair.
More than 25 agencies were represented at Friday morning’s event.
Among the services offered, lab work was offered by Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System for a nominal fee. Crescent Center Drugs provided shingles and COVID-19 booster shots.
Blood pressure screenings were also done by HealthStar Physicians.
There were representatives from various health insurance companies, the Morristown Fire Department and many more.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday at the center, located at 841 Lincoln Avenue in Morristown.
“It’s the best place to get all of the information you need at one time,” Senior Citizens Center Executive Director Valerie Farmer said.
There will be door prizes and music during the event. Most of the agencies will also hand out free items. Another health fair will be held in the fall.
