Members of American Legion Post 52 in Morristown completed the construction of a deck and ramp for the home of a veteran recently discharged from the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Johnson City.

For the convenience of the family, the main part of the construction was completed in one day, with the final touches accomplished the next morning.

Post 52 is dedicated to following the mission of the American Legion, “To enhance the well-being of America’s veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.”
