Rose Center hosts high school art show

F

The Rose Center hosted its annual High School Art Show.

This is a partnership of the Morristown Art Association and Rose Center Council for The Arts.

Area high school art students were invited to participate by submitting art work produced during the current school year. The art is judged by Morristown Art Association Members and then exhibited at Rose Center Council for the Arts in the Edith Davis Gallery.

A reception and awards presentation was held to open the show and students, teachers, families, and the community were invited to attend.

Awards included one “Best of Show” cash award, cash awards for First and Second Place from each school, and ribbons for Honorable Mention as appropriate.

This annual exhibit is a unique opportunity for students to display their artwork in a professional gallery setting.

It also provides an opportunity for the community to see what creative work our area students are producing. Winners were as follows
