Chamber to hold candidate forum

The Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce for candidates running in the upcoming city of Morristown election will host a candidate forum Monday, April 3 at 7 p.m.

The event will be at Walters State Community College Lyceum in the Wade B. McCamey Student Services Building

The public is welcome.

The May 2 election will feature three contested races for mayor and city council.

Rob Burke is challenging incumbent Mayor Gary Chesney while Katy Tindall Klose is challenging incumbent Chris Bivens and Joe Senter is challenging incumbent Ken Smith.

Early voting in the election begins April 12 and runs through April 27.

This forum will be videoed and available on the Citizen Tribune Website, www.citizentribune.com.

The Chamber of Commerce will provide the moderator. No questions will be taken from the audience
