James W. “Dub” Clark, age 81 of Morristown, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Dub will be remembered as a loving, devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

For many years, he was a member of Panther Springs UMC and most recently Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed cars and traveling; and was a member of the K-Town Sams Camping Club. Dub graduated from Morristown High School in 1961 and attended college at ETSU & Contra Costa College. He retired from American Enka / BASF after a career of 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.G. “Mickey” and Dorothy Clark. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn McClister Clark; children, Barry Clark & Rebecca McLain; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Friday, March 17, 2023 at Mayes Mortuary. A funeral will follow at 7PM with Pastors Trevor Roberts & Josh Gibson officiating. Burial will take place at 11AM Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
