Tribune Home Show shaping up

As February comes to a close, the time for the annual Citizen Tribune Home Show draws near.

This year, each 2023 Citizen Tribune Home Show vendor will have the opportunity on the main stage to talk about their business during the three days of the show.

Also new this year entertainment wise is the addition of “Art With A Twist” art show and performances by the Theatre Guild and Encore all on Saturday on the main stage at Center court.

Gregg Campbell will perform an acoustic set Saturday afternoon. The crowd favorite of Saved Thru Faith every year coming back for a Friday evening performance.

This year’s show features several top prizes including a $650 grill from Home Depot, a $250 Lowe’s gift card, $400 cash, a $350 Home Improvement package from Ben Cantwell from Greater Impact Realty and a 9500 BTU Mini Split unit from Renner Electric, Heating & Cooling Inc.

In all, there’s over $5,000 in prizes this year for people coming and going at the Citizen Tribune Home Show.

Mike Walker, show coordinator, said all in all this year is shaping up to be back close to the numbers seen prior to 2020.

“So far we have 43 spaces occupied and looking at a few more to come in,” Walker said. “With the vendors we have so far, it appears we have something for everyone. We’ve got new ones and some of the home improvement favorites. This show has always been fun both for the vendors and home improvement shoppers alike.”

The 2023 Citizen Tribune Home Show will be March 10, 11 and 12th at College Square Mall.

On Friday March 10, the show will be 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., On Saturday, March 11 it will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
