Bean Station PD charges Knox man with child sex crimes

A Knoxville man is facing charges involving alleging sex crimes against a child following an investigation by the Bean Station Police Department.

On Feb. 10, 026 a report was made to Bean Station Police, involving incidents that allegedly occurred between October of 2020 and August of 2023.

The victim was between the ages of 15 and 18 during the time of the alleged offenses. On May 4, 2026,

See CRIME page A-6 Cash Bryan L. Cash, 48, of Knoxville Tennessee was arrested by Bean Station Police Department.

Cash has been charged with a count of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, 48 counts of Statutory Rape by Authority Figure, and a count of Especially Aggravated Exploitation of a Minor.

This case is still under investigation. Because of the nature of the case, no additional information will be released at this time.

“The Bean Station Police Department considers crimes against children a top priority. These cases are thoroughly investigated to ensure those who are responsible will be held accountable. We are committed to supporting the victim and their family through this process,” the department said in a release. “Special thank you to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Detective and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division in locating and assisting in the arrest.”
