Jarnagin

Carolyn Jane Jarnagin, age 75, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 4, 2026.

Her greatest accomplishment in life was being “Mom” and “Nana.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.J. and Mary Irene Hurley Jarnagin; grandparents, Thomas and Sarah Hurley, and Ida Jarnagin; brother, Wallace “Dean” Jarnagin; sister, Brenda Kaye Jarnagin.

She is survived by her son, Landon (Elizabeth) Gibson; grandchildren, Alyssa (David) Musick, Cole (Reeanna) Gibson; and great-granddaughter, Oaklee Mae Gibson; sister- in-law, Barbara Jarnagin; nephews, Shannon and Jamie Jarnagin, Chadd (Misty) Jarnagin; niece, Melissa (Harold) Musick; great-niece, Natalie Jarnagin.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Graveside/interment services will be Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bent Creek Cemetery in Whitesburg.
