Laura Ann Phipps

Laura Ann Phipps, 65, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Laura was a devoted wife to Jerry Phipps, a loving mother to Kelly Rogers (Ben) and Zachary Turner, and a proud grandmother to Kayleigh, Alex, Nyla, and Carson. She was also blessed with five cherished great-grandchildren: Ellie Cook, Archer Rossignol, Jeremiah, Kace, and Valley Ann Salvalaggio.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Phipps; her mother, Emma Turner; her motherin- law, Jenny Phipps; her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; her beloved siblings, Lester, Robert, Stacy, Sammy, Melody, and Terri; and special cousin, Sis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Turner.
Laura had a heart big enough to love everyone. She cherished her siblings and loved them as though they were her own children, always offering encouragement, guidance, and unconditional love. She also adored her faithful companions, Sadie, Junior, and PeeWee.
Above all, Laura loved Jesus with all her heart. She was a faithful Christian who praised Him through every season of life. Whether in times of joy or hardship, her faith never wavered. She had a beautiful gift for writing songs of praise, and through her music she shared God’s love and encouraged everyone around her.
Laura’s kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith leave a lasting legacy. While her family and friends will miss her deeply, they find comfort knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Savior she loved so dearly.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the East Chapel of the Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2026, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
