An alleged violent offender out of Illinois was taken into custody at a Morristown mobile home park Thursday afternoon, according to the Morristown Police Department.

The MPD was contacted by the Wheaton, Illinois Police Department about a fugitive they believed to be in Morristown.

The Criminal Apprehension Unit determined the man was at a mobile home park on Brights Pike in Morristown, not far from the Buffalo Trail Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market.

The man, who is charged with three counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault with Bodily Harm in Illinois will face local charges and then be held for the Illinois law enforcement agency.
