Terry R. Swimm, age 79 of Russellville, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Retired from Ford Motor Company in Ohio, Terry moved to East Tennessee in 1998. He was loved by all who knew him, and enjoyed being constantly on-the-go.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelby J. Swimm; his parents, William Earl Swimm & Mary “Princess” Swimm; and siblings, Herman, Mary, Ruby, Doris, Teddy, and Keith.

He is survived by his wife, Noretta; daughter, Teresa; and stepchildren Debbie, Toni, Jim, Jeff, & Bambi; granddaughter, Cheyenne; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his twin brother, Jerry; and brother, Freddy; “Best Nephew”, Gary (Knucklehead); best friend, Jerry Self; as well as several other nieces, nephews, extended family, & friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Mayes Mortuary. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m..

Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Ogle Hill Cemetery in Cosby.
