Deborah Sue Carpenter, age 61, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bernice Carpenter; brother, Larry Carpenter; half brother, Todd Carpenter; grandparents, Will and Mertie Carpenter and Rufus and Laura Singleton.

She is survived by her brothers, David Carpenter and Lynn Carpenter; half brothers, Scott Carpenter and Jeff Singleton; uncles, Johnny Singleton, Charles Singleton, and Major Carpenter; and aunts, Wanda Singleton, Kathy Singleton, and Dorothy Singleton.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 23rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Eddie Malone officiating. Family and friends will meet for a 10 a.m. graveside Friday, March 24th at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Midway.
