The members of Sunrise Court #20 Order of the Amaranth has chosen “Random Acts of Kindness” as the theme for 2023. Last month they delivered caps for cancer patients at the Morristown Cancer Center.

For this month’s project they collected food supplies for the Green County Food Bank.

They were able to deliver 132 pounds of food.

The Order of the Amaranth is a fraternal organization composed of Master Masons and female relatives. In its teaching, the members are reminded of their duties to God, to their country, and to their fellow human beings.

They are urged to portray, by example, their belief in the “Golden Rule.”

Their history goes back about 300 years and has been in America since the mid 19th century. Their main charity is the American Diabetic Foundation.
