The following activites are planned for the week of May 29 through June 2. The Morristown Senior Center is open Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday, May 29 The center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

The Annual Yard Sale Fundraiser is set for Saturday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a variety of treasures: furniture, clothing and shoes, household goods, and much more.
A baked good sale will also be held. Hot Dog plates will be available for purchase. All funds raised benefit the Senior Center/Hamblen County Office on Aging.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day will be held Thursday, June 15 at 11 a.m.
The event will be Lunch & Learn style, so RSVP is required by Friday, June 9. The event is limited to 75 participants.
Speakers will be representatives of the Morristown Police Department
Susan Haley, Assistant Vice President and Fraud Officer for SmartBank, will be speaking on Financial Scams:how to avoid and what to do if you become a victim.
Lunch will be provided by Home Instead & Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice.
