The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in partnership with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), will be hosting a webinar and business recovery fair to assist businesses and private non-profits in recovering from the deadly tornadoes that occurred from March 31 through April 1 of this year.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, June 27, and will cover working capital loans through SBA and technical and counseling services offered by the TSBDC.

NASHVILLE – Ninety-three of Tennessee’s 95 counties recorded unemployment rates below 5% in May, according to new Department of Labor and Workforce Development data. Two counties, Bledsoe and Scott, did have rates just above the 5% mark.

For the second consecutive month, individual county jobless numbers did inch up slightly in all but one county.
