The Matt Byrd Band is excited to be celebrating their official album release with an album release concert.

The Morristown based band will be performing at the Capitol Theatre in Greeneville on June 24th at 8p.m. Tickets are available for presale and are $20 on presale and $25 at the door. . CDs and t-shirts will also be available for purchase at the concert.

The concert will be recorded live for a promotional music video giving concert goers the opportunity to be featured in the video on social media.

Lead singer Matt Byrd, began writing and recording songs independently in 2020, but after being approached by WIVK and presented with other opportunities he began the process of forming a band. In 2022 The Matt Byrd Band was born and since forming they have recorded popular singles such as Tailgate Stomp and Movin’ On.

The band consists of lead singer and Lyricist Matt Byrd, lead guitar Wayne Stambaugh, drums Ryan Miller, bass Rodney Tomlinson and keyboard Derrick Blankenbeckler.
