Rachel Evonne Mutter, age 75 of White Pine, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2023 at her residence.

She was a member of Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church in Mosheim.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Lynn Mutter, parents Raymond and Nancy Long of White Pine, grandsons, ridge and Nicolas Sims.

She is survived by her son, Marvin (Tracy) Mutter, daughters, Cathy (Lary) Sims, and Amy (Shane) Hill, several grandchildren: Cigi, Robert, Samantha, Odin, Elizabeth, Hunter, Jason, Brianne, Cheyanne, Marissa and many extended grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren, other family members that she leaves behind are her sisters; Millie Young, Reva (Charlie) Cowart and brother Wesley Long. In-laws, Rick (Pat0 Mutter, Tammy (Ken) Driver, Regina Setser and Rosemary Matarazza, several nieces, nephews and other family members, she leaves her faithful dog and companion Gizmo.

Rachel will be remembered for her kindness to others and dearly missed by all. The family would like to thank Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for their service, also a heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Casey Johnson for all the wonderful care provided.

Family received friends Saturday, June 24, 2023 between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm followed by the funeral service at 6:00pm with Rev. Matthew Newman and Rev. Stanley Carpenter officiating. A Graveside Interment was held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, 1:00pm in White Pine Cemetery.
