Downtown Morristown returns with its First Fridays Live Concert series on July 7th with Tequila Mockingbird as its headlining performer.

First Fridays Live is a summer concert series hosted by Downtown Morristown to bring good music and a chance to fellowship with the community.

The event takes place each month on the green at Downtown Morristown’s Farmers Market.

It will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the night market, featuring local craft vendors and food trucks ready to sell their goods to the community.

This month’s concert features local Tequila Mockingbird, a cover band from Greeneville, who performs songs spanning from classic rock to the current radio hits.

The band was formed in 2019 and has played all over East TN including at Double Deuce Music Barn, Bobarosa Saloon’s Bobtober Fest and the Tennessee Veterans of Morristown TN.

Earlier this year Tequila Mockingbird added Kevin “Badger” Higgins to their group as co-vocalist.

To those interested Downtown Morristown encourages those attending to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the free concert.

This month’s concert is presented by Tokers, East Tennessee Nissan, Price and Ramey Insurance Group and Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union.
