Cheddars opens in West Morristown

Cheddars scratch kitchen officially opened its’ doors on Monday.
The Morristown Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new restaurant into the community by commemorating their grand opening with a ribbon cutting.
Individuals planning to pay a visit to Cheddars scratch kitchen can expect a casual dining experience with a relaxing ambiance that is suitable for family dinners or date nights.
Cheddars specializes in all scratch made food, meaning nothing is frozen and everything is made fresh to order.
Mayor Gary Chesney welcomed the new restaurant and staff and said they can expect a warm Hamblen County welcome as this new dining experience has been much anticipated by the community.
“Morristown is going to welcome you like Morristown welcomes new restaurants. Expect a line out the door as people line up for those honey butter croissants and pot pies. We thank you for being here and we’re glad you’re here. This has been one of the most highly viewed construction jobs in Morristown’s history with all of this traffic.” Chesney said.
Cheddars General Manager Matthew Adams says he is excited to officially get things going and has enjoyed his experience within the Morristown community.
“We’ve been very welcomed and it’s been fantastic meeting people. We’ve had hundreds of applicants and interviews and along the way we’ve met some amazing people. This has been amazing for us. I am super excited to kick things off.” Adams said.
