Individuals of all ages gathered in the midst of Aquanet on Saturday night and the shoulder pads and puffed sleeves came out in style as many relived their glory days at 1907 Brewing Company’s Prom of the Decade.

This was the second annual Prom of the Decade that 1907 Brewing Company has hosted and some guests may have even found themselves in a time warp as all were encouraged to come dressed in prom attire from their favorite decade.

Live music from the Mikki Norwood Band kept guests moving all night long. Whether it was people kicking off their shoes to get down to their favorite hip-hop hit, or cozy up to their date for a slow dance, the dance floor was never empty as they played hits from every genre and decade.

General Manager Leslie Beach was stunning in a classy, long, black gown. Beach could be seen working the crowd, taking videos, dancing and enjoying the evening along with her guests.

“We really go all out to make this a special night for everyone, the energy is awesome.” Beach said.

During the night, guests were invited to line Main Street to witness the inaugural lighting of the new 1907 sign which hangs outside the new Roosevelt Room.

The sign was created by Morristown Signs and was designed to match the overall vibe of the new Roosevelt Room which will be opening in early fall.

1907 Brewing Company Co-Owner Brandon Tomassoni took a few moments to himself to stand on the sidewalk and admire the newly lit sign Saturday night.

“We have been talking about this sign for over two years, and to finally see it come to fruition and light the sign with so many of our supporters present is very special.” Tomassoni said.

The celebratory spirit didn’t end there.

After guests celebrated the lighting of the sign, the crowd made its way back into the building to crown their new prom king and queen.

John and Brenda Tomassoni won the vote by a landslide and everyone was more than happy to toast to them as their new king and queen.

The occasion was marked with more dancing and fun which carried on until close to midnight.
