David R. Stepp, age 76 of Morristown, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Seldon & Bessie Stepp; son, Chad Stepp; brother, Clifford Stepp; and grandson, Bradley Bivens.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Becky Stepp; children, Kim (Chris) Bivens and Justin (Cortney) Stepp; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Adam Bivens, Delainey and Maggie June Stepp; great-grandson, Caden Bivens; and sister, Carolyn (David) Crosby; as well as many other special friends and family members.

The family will receive friends at Mayes Mortuary from 5:30PM to 7:30PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. A funeral service will follow at 7:30PM with Rev. Dean Haun officiating. Rev. Charlie Brewer will hold the graveside service, which will take place 1PM Thursday, August 31 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Missions Ministry at FBC Morristown.
