Thirteen members of Carson-Newman University’s football team made professions of faith on Aug. 25, choosing to be baptized in Mossy Creek on campus. Team players and members of the C-N community gathered on the banks of the historic creek in support. Alan Duncan, associate pastor of Morristown’s Manley Baptist Church, and team chaplain Marty Blakely, baptized the team members.
