Welcome back to another powerhouse week of Trojan Talk, your ultimate source for everything happening in the heart of West High.

In sports news, mark your calendars for a packed home schedule against Jeff Co on Feb. 16 for Basketball Senior Night!

The action kicks off with JVG at 4:15 PM, followed by JVB at 5:00 PM, VG at 6:00 PM, and the VB finale at 7:30 PM.

Then, the stakes get even higher as the basketball district tournament takes over Morristown East from Feb. 19–25.

In club news, it is going to be a busy stretch for campus organizations! Both FCA and RAOK are scheduled to meet on Feb. 17, followed by a packed lineup on Feb. 18 featuring meetings for Trojan Tribe, Student Council, and HOSA. Make sure to check your club’s specific meeting locations so you don’t miss out on the latest updates.

There is even more happening on campus at West High as we hit the middle of the month!

On Feb. 19, Jostens will be stationed in the cafeteria during all lunch shifts for anyone looking to place orders for letter jackets or class rings.

Later that same day, seniors can head over to the Senior FAFSA Frenzy, which runs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Feb. 19 to get expert help with those college applications.

Additional February dates are February 16-27: Rising Jr’s meet with counselors to schedule classes for next year. Feb. 26, Eighth graders and parents will visit Morristown West for Building the Nation at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium. Feb. 27 HOSA will host a Spring Blood Drive from 8am -3pm in the Auditorium and 8am – 4pm on the Medic Bus. Students see an advisor to schedule. Teachers and Staff, no appointment needed.

Spring Sports are picking up as winter sports come to an end. Support your baseball, softball, track, and tennis teams this season. Enjoy the warmer weather this week. Go Trojans!
