Antique & Thrift Crawl draws shoppers from across the region

The Greene County Partnership, in collaboration with Rocky Top Tours, hosted a successful Antique & Thrift Crawl on Saturday, welcoming 35 participants for a day of shopping, exploration, and community connection.

Participants visited a variety of local antique and thrift destinations, including Country Road Antiques & More, Baileyton Mercantile, Back Porch Antiques, Greeneville Antique Market, Opportunity House Thrift Store, The Whiskey & Sage House, The Burlap Bunny, and the CARE Thrift Store. Participants were invited to complete a scavenger hunt to which Debbie Gosnell was the winner. The event highlighted the unique charm and variety of Greene County’s shopping scene while supporting local businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Guests also enjoyed lunch catered by Krazzy Cakes and Catering, hosted at the City Garage Car Museum in downtown Greeneville, providing a memorable break in the day.

While the majority of attendees were local residents, the event also attracted visitors from surrounding communities including Morristown, Kingsport, Johnson City, Jonesborough, and even as far away as Nashville, demonstrating the growing appeal of Greene County as a regional destination.

Proceeds from ticket sales for the Antique & Thrift Crawl benefit Keep Greene Beautiful, supporting ongoing efforts to enhance the community’s environmental stewardship and beautification initiatives.

“We were thrilled with the turnout and the enthusiasm from participants,” said Jessie Beth Miller of the Greene County Partnership. “The Antique & Thrift Crawl supported local businesses and allowed us to hunt for treasures without the stresses of planning out the day or driving.”

The next Antique & Thrift Crawl is set for Saturday, May 23. Tickets are available now at www.greenecountypartnership.com. For more information, contact Jessie Beth Miller at 423-638-4111 or via email at jb@greenecountypartnership.com.
