For 50 years the Rose Center in Morristown has been an anchor for arts and culture in the region and the 2026 Kelley Marie Annual Spring Fashion Show joined in on the celebration with bright colors and the latest clothing for Lakeway fashionistas.

The vibrant showcase, which benefits the Center, was sold out and saw the largest attendance in the program’s history.

“Oh, my goodness — we had the perfect show, I do believe,” Kelley Marie Chic Boutique owner and show organizer Kelley Simpson said. “It was just in the air last night, you know, with it being the night before the first day of spring.”

The energy was as vibrant as the floral colors on some of the outfits. Simpson said she was thrilled with the way the spring collection came together on the models.

“Every outfit was curated for them, and they were models from all sizes and ages across those spectrums,” she said. “They looked like they were (custom tailored) for each model.”

The show served as one of the recent “kickoff” events at the Rose Center and heralds exciting programming planned for the year.

Rose Center Executive Director Beccy Hamm said there are free concerts, discounted classes and more planned to mark the important 50th year milestone.

“Thank you all of you for helping make this event such a success; I am overwhelmed by your generosity,” she told the attendees, going into the history of the Rose Center and how it was preserved. “We are so indebted to the people who started this place, who had the vision to say, ‘No, we’re not going to let you tear this building down.’ We wanted to turn it into a museum and cultural event center for our community. And that’s what we’ve been doing for 50 years.”

Hamm said support like the fashion show continues to be a big part of the success of the Rose Center as they looked forward.

“We want to continue this into the next 50 years.”
