Second Saturday Market June 13

An ideal opportunity to shop for something unique and special for Dad’s Father’s Day gift, the Second Saturday Market will take place from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at The Exchange in Rutledge.

This month’s market will feature a bounce house with free admission, so bring the kids out for some fun and shop local, shop small and support small businesses in the community.

The June market will include canned goods by Davis Canning and Hayes Meltin’ Moments, wood craft products by BK’s Woodworking; Books and accessories by Bold and Bookmarked; fidget gadgets and other 3D printed items by Houston’s Country Girl Crafts and Mr. C’s 3Ds; and candles and wax melts by Hayes Meltin’ Moments.

Don’t forget to get Dad something sweet as a variety of confections will be available to help satisfy any sweet tooth, with Homemade Goodies offering mini cakes, dipped Oreo pops, fruit/dessert kabobs, cupcakes, banana bread and more; Copeland Farmstand offering cinnamon rolls, white sandwich bread, chocolate chip cookies, strawberry jam, mixed berry jam, cinnamon roll granola and strawberry vanilla granola; and Dan’s Dogs offering homemade fudge!

From hot dogs, hamburgers, and meatloaf sandwiches to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, loaded chili cheese fries, and homemade fudge, Dan’s Dogs has something to appeal to all palates and will be onsite throughout the event.

• BK’s Woodworking will have decorative pieces, bread bow knives, wooden bowls, ladles and spoons, trivets, rolling pins and more.

• Bold and Bookmarked will have a variety of stickers, art prints, tote bags, earrings, key chains, bookmarks and the popular Blind Date with a Book.

• Copeland Farm stand will offer cinnamon rolls, white sandwich bread, chocolate chip cookies, strawberry jam, mixed berry jam, cinnamon roll granola and strawberry vanilla granola.

• Davis Canning will have a variety of jams, jellies and salsa.

• Hayes Meltin’ Moments will offer wax melts, candles, salsa and BBQ sauce.

• Homemade Goodies will have mini cakes, dipped Oreo pops, fruit/ dessert kabobs, cupcakes, banana bread and more.

• Houston’s Country Girl Crafts will have ChapStick holders, phone stands, fidget toys, Alani/Red Bull holders, cutting boards, mouse pads, and car coasters • Mr. C’s 3Ds will have “create your own key board clicker” and the Mr. C’s Elemental Dragon Challenge, as well as minis and chunker desk pets, other dragons and many other fidgets.

Make plans to visit Downtown Rutledge Saturday, June 13, shop the vendors, enjoy a great lunch and take home something sweet.
